  7. IconInstaller is a tool to aid in icon management. The basic operation of
  8. IconInstaller is to copy the imagery from one icon to another. Both standard
  9. icons and NewIcons are supported, including conversion from standard to
  10. NewIcons, and vice versa. IconInstaller can also be used to copy other
  11. attributes (such as tooltypes, position, default tool etc.) in addition to,
  12. or instead of, the imagery.

  14. IconInstaller has a mouse-driven graphical user interface, where icons can
  15. be selected with simple dragging and dropping, or alternatively using
  16. standard ASL file requesters. Unique to IconInstaller is a script mode
  17. where icons are selected for installation according to a script.
  18. IconInstaller can also be used to easily install whole drawers of icons
  19. with a single command.

  21. IconInstaller requires at least AmigaDOS 2.04. The NewIcons patch and
  22. newicon.library are optional, but provide extra functionality.

  24. IconInstaller is freely distributable and copyright ⌐ 1995 Tom Ekstr÷m.
  25. There is no charge for the use of this software. This is generally known
  26. as FreeWare.
